Recipe for 4 drunk friends:
Any amount of onion you have, at least 3, definitely less than 6.
Bouillon or broth of any kind
Salt and pepper, you’ll know how much...
A hint of balsamic vinegar
Start by finding a very big pot, heat it up on the stove on a low to medium heat with some olive oil.
While this heats up, slice your onions but not too thinly. Also remember to not cut yourself, you can’t see straight…
Throw the onions in the hot pot and gently turn them around for 15 minutes until they become a nice shade of caramel.
You are halfway done now, so keep up. Add in the bouillon or broth, let it cook for another 15 minutes minimum, and up to 1 hour. If you fall asleep at this point, no drama, it will be better when you wake up.
Add in a pinch of salt and pepper, and if you have that on your shelf, 2 tablespoons of balsamic vinegar.
